Size & Fit Details
This boot is built with a spacious toe box and will fit best on a medium to medium/wide foot.
- Fits true to size for most. Order your regular shoe size.
- For sizes 9.5 and up we recommend sizing up 1/2 to one full size as these sizes run short.
- Will loosen slightly with wear. Insole is removable.
The Lieben Chelsea Boot
Our take on the classic Chelsea boot has become a cool weather staple for Stegmann lovers. This boot is comfortable right out of the box and has a wide no-squeeze toe box that is bunion-friendly! Rich vegetable tanned leather wards off the elements while a cozy wool felt lining keeps feet warm with or without socks. A supportive removable wool lined insole adds cushioned arch and all over foot support.

Sweet with skirts or pants! Do not rub on ankle bone or back of ankle! I have a wide forefoot with long second toe, high arch/instep, and narrow heel. Took the company’s advice and went up a whole size. I would not have been able to get a 9.5 on, but am happy with the 10s. Although a full size larger than I usually wear, they do not look huge. The interior arch support hits at just the right place. Very stable, plenty of toe room. Straight out of the box I wore them for four hours, which is a record for my demanding feet, and they are softening up nicely.
I recently bought this shoe, and it’s been perfect as the weather is starting to change in New England. I have another pair of Stegmanns, the Maria mule, and these fit a bit wider, which is perfect for me (size 10 in both). They are super easy to put on with the little heel tab, and there was no break-in period. The leather is so soft, and the perfect brown color. I can quickly tell I will probably be wearing these throughout the fall!
It's a little tight, but otherwise the shoes feel great.
