I ordered one size, swapped for a 1/2 size change and I've been wearing them ever since. I'm so happy with my new kicks! I'll be looking for a new style to add to my collection.
Purchased to help after foot surgery - something supportive and easy to put on. They are just that - supportive footbed with some cushioning. Very comfortable even with a tender foot.
Super cute but too tight for my wide feet and high instep. The top of the shoe dug into my foot and with the stitching it seemed unlikely I'd be able to stretch it out.
These shoes are a bit smaller over all than the wool clogs I’ve worn for years. Your description that stated they’re the narrowest of your clogs is spot on. Also a little shorter and the cork sole doesn’t seem quite as thick. I will wear these barefoot and wear my original wool clogs when I want the extra warmth of socks. It’s too early to tell how they will hold up.
Didn't fit. Whether my feet have changed or whether these clogs have been changed, I don't know. But I can’t seem to get a pair that fits right, i've returned 2 pair now. Usual size, 9.5, was too small, and so was size 10. Sad because I've worn for years.
This clog was short on length. It did not compare to my other wool clogs of the same size. Good quality but had to return due to poor sizing
I now have 3 pairs of this style. They are so comfortable on my problem feet.
And they look dressed up with pants.
My podiatrist recommended these a few years ago. I have another style in my collection. But the Elsa felt is my fav.
Anyone who wants comfort and style ,go with Stegmann.
Love these house shoes, well I use them as house shoes 🤎
I’ve had this style a few times…
Good choice
Gets better with time as it molds to your foot🦶🏼
I am extremely happy with my purchase! The quality and workmanship of the ‘mules’ met all my expectations. I will be ordering again from Stegmann.
Start by saying I love the Stegmann's shoes that my feet tolerate, and these loafers are gorgeous. With arthritis, bunions and some natural joint fusions, my feet need the metatarsal support found in the Mainz shoe. Had to return and ordered another pair of the Mainz in a different color. Sad but at least I can wear some of these shoes. Before finding Stegmann's, I pretty much stuck with arch support sneakers.
Once upon a time, I vowed to clear out my closet and only keep the shoes that I loved. For awhile, there was actually some empty space until I discovered Stegmann’s shoes, boots, mules, and sandals. I began replacing all the other shoes in my wardrobe. But something seemed to be missing….I needed a classic, casual loafer. And here it is. Stegmann’s read my mind. Perfect!
These look nice and are very comfortable. I bought the black/gray and the tan ones. I bought a 6.5, my normal size, and they fit just fine. My feet are a little narrow.
I loved the design of the well made shoe & it was pretty comfortable right out of the box but the sizing seemed off. I tried a leather 9 & it was slightly large & heel slipped when walking. I ordered a leather 8.5 (was mistakenly sent a felt pair) however this pair was too tight. I would have loved to find a pair that fit perfectly.
I wear a 9 narrow shoe. Even with the Women's 108 Vegan Wool Clog being the most narrow of the Stegmann clogs, they were too wide for me to wear without socks. I had hoped they could be my “ inside shoes”. Sadly as much I liked them, I had to return.
I work in a school and am on my feet all day. These shoes are super comfortable ; very well made; and are great for New England weather.
Fit really well. So happy with the purchase! Love the feel of the wool on the inside - can wear with or without socks.
Also I’m petite small ankles and I love that they don’t look bulky and are lightweight!
This is a great shoe. How have I not bought them earlier?
I really don't like posting negative feedback, so have been trying my best over the past few months to use these as often as possible hoping that my experience would improve, but I feel like I've given these enough time to win me over and they just haven't.
I bought these looking for an alternative to Crocs that I would be comfortable wearing outside the home. I really like clogs, but these days I feel like I'm both too old and too young to pull off wearing my Crocs in public. These seemed to fit the bill very well, and I was impressed with the number of positive reviews I read about the comfort and quality Stegmanns offer.
However, I've personally found them to be pretty uncomfortable; they're clearly made of quality materials, but because of that they're heavier than other clogs I've tried, and so I find them sliding around my foot a lot more than I'd like. I also found that while the footbed does try to mold to your foot over time, there's a limit to how much it will, and maybe it's just me and my feet but I've found that the comfort on the sole of my foot hasn't improved substantially over time. My last big gripe is that they scuff incredibly easily; mine actually arrived scuffed which I was kinda bummed about, but I've learned that the reason why is that they're very very difficult not to scuff even in light every day usage. I feel I've been relatively light on them and have mostly worn them to walk the dog around the block, do a grocery run, go to church or the theater, etc. but they still have ended up with a lot more scratches and scuffs than my other leather shoes for the same wear.
Based on my experience, I just can't recommend these as much as I wish I could; I wanted to love these, but they just don't fit my needs in terms of comfort or function, and unfortunately they're now collecting dust on the shoe rack and likely destined for donation, while I now grab a trusty pair of Crocs and just try to rock them as best I can outdoors. Truthfully, I would have returned these, but just wearing them around my house the first few days I was able to scuff the leather and put noticeable wear on the heel on the sole, so I figured I wouldn't be able to return them and saw it as an opportunity to give them the college try.
My recommendation for folks looking at purchasing a pair of these would be to try them on in person at a store if at all possible, and if you end up going home with a pair, make sure to wear them around the house as much as possible first to make darn sure they're keepers. Otherwise, Crocs has a huge selection these days, and I've honestly found them to be more comfortable, versatile, and durable (plus [understandably] way cheaper), so make sure there's not a pair of them that could better fit your needs. I appreciate the look and quality of Stegmanns, but in my experience, that quality construction doesn't translate into a more comfortable fit than its plastic competitors.
My first pair of Stegmanns was a wool pair and I was instantly in love with these shoes. When I saw the leather ones were available, I bought a pair in brown and now a pair in black. All three were comfortable right out of the box. I'm sure they won't be my last.
