Size & Fit Details

Please check 'Size Chart' above before ordering. This is a Medium (B) width clog with a generous toe box. Order your usual shoe size if you plan to wear socks or have a higher volume foot. We recommend sizing down 1/2 size for barefoot wear, or if you prefer a snug fit. This clog will loosen slightly with wear, so many women prefer the clog to fit a bit snug out of the box.

Designed for indoor and outdoor wear. This clog does not have a removable insole or insert - the upper is a single, seamless piece of wool.

The Essenz is our essential wool house shoe and everyday wool clog. A modern take on our famous Original 108, we left the traditional ribbon off for a minimalist look. This shoe has a soft, seamless Merino wool blended upper; paired with our Stegmann support sole.

Love these clogs...but

I previously had the 108 clogs and loved them, wore them until they wore out! This time I went with the Essenz clogs for the sleeker look. I have been wearing them for over just over a week and I keep finding the wool is coming off in little clumps. It just kinds rubs off apparently. So a little disappointing, as I really want these to last because they are SO comfortable.

Better than expected

This is the second pair I’ve bought, and I enjoy them more than the first (108 style)! They have better arch support and feel warmer. It’s the only thing I will wear in the winter in my chilly home.
