Runs true to size for most medium width wearers. Sizes 9.5 and up run short - we recommend sizing up 1/2 size if possible for sizes 9.5+.

The Liesl fits like a traditional women's dress shoe and is narrower than our wool clogs. Will loosen slightly with wear. Insole is removable.

Read all the reviews, and ordered size accordingly. But--

I wish these had fit out of the box. They are too short. I have faith that they will stretch, but I have to wear them to make that happen, and they are too tight to be comfortable. I will love them someday, but that day is a ways off. (I did not exchange them because the box was immediately recycled by my OCD husband.)
