Size & Fit Details

Please check 'Size Chart' above before ordering. This is a Medium (B) width clog with a generous toe box. Order your usual shoe size if you plan to wear socks or have a higher volume foot. We recommend sizing down 1/2 size for barefoot wear, or if you prefer a snug fit. This clog will loosen slightly with wear, so many women prefer the clog to fit a bit snug out of the box.

Designed for indoor and outdoor wear. This clog does not have a removable insole or insert - the upper is a single, seamless piece of wool.

The Essenz is our essential wool house shoe and everyday wool clog. A modern take on our famous Original 108, we left the traditional ribbon off for a minimalist look. This shoe has a soft, seamless Merino wool blended upper; paired with our Stegmann support sole.

Therapy for my feet

I have flat feet, bunions, and neuropathy. I was experiencing tremendous foot pain that affected my knees and lower back. I felt relieved after wearing my first pair of Women's Essenz Wool Clogs. No foot pain, no knee or back pain! I ended up buying another pair for my college-aged daughter, who hasn't taken them off since she got them. She loves their comfort and the warmth they provide for her feet.

I originally bought a 9.5, but I felt they were too short. My second pair was a 10, and they fit perfectly with and without socks.

Nice looking

My clogs are nice looking and comfortable. They are a bit wide for my narrow foot so I haven’t decided whether I’m keeping them yet.
