Size & Fit Details

This is a Medium Plus width shoe, which fits like a spacious medium. If you have a higher volume foot, but are not quite a wide this may be a good fit for you.

🔻 Runs long sizes 6 - 9.5 size down 1/2 size if possible

🔺 Runs short sizes 10+ size up 1/2 size if possible

The Liesl fits like a traditional women's dress shoe and is narrower than our wool clogs. Will loosen slightly with wear. Insole is removable.

📌 Some customers have noted this style has a wider fitting heel - if needed, we recommend our Heelix Heel Grips to reduce heel slip.

Liesl - Size, Fit, Color

I absolutely LOVE my new Liesl in Violet. I decided on a "pop" of color but was concerned based on the website pictures that violet might be a bit bright. It is NOT. It is such a deep, rich tone, almost burgundy that I consider it almost "neutral". My shoe size is 7.5 Wide and have found that most of the time I need to size up to an 8. Based on the website description, I went with 7.5 and took a deep breath before I slipped my foot into this amazing comfortable shoe. The toe box is wide enough to accommodate my foot. The shoe is a bit roomy but fits perfectly with a lightweight sock, although I plan on wearing it with a bare foot during the Spring and Summer months so I am leaning towards the heel grip (although my heel does not slip out of the shoe) or perhaps an insert. I can tell as I wear it that the cork is becoming more fitted to my foot.

I am so excited that I finally purchased this shoe that I plan on purchasing another!

Really liked these shoes, however in the size 9 they were too big in the heel. In size 8.5 they were too short. Sadly had to return.

I wanted them to fit!

These are great shoes just wider than usual. I love the toe box and all things about them. They just did not fit well.
