Size & Fit Details

Check the 'Size Guide' above before ordering. This is a Medium (B) width clog, it runs true to size for most and has a generous toe box. This clog will loosen slightly with wear.

Designed for indoor and outdoor use. This clog does not have a removable insole or insert - the upper is a single, seamless piece of wool. This width is what you may be familiar with for 90’s and early 2000’s Stegmann wool clogs.

still a fantastic shoe

My mom wore this brand all the time while I was growing up. I finally decided to shell out for these bad boys, and they are just as cozy and high quality as I remember. In an era where it seems everything has become worse, Stegmann's have stayed the same.

High Quality Shoe... but not for Morton's Toe.

I had such hopes for these clogs. They are beautifully made, flawlessly finished, but alas, like almost all shoes made in the last 20 years, they do NOT accommodate Morton's Toe (a second toe which is longer than the big toe). Buying a longer size doesn't help, because one's foot simply slides, jamming that second toe.
I have not attempted to return the clogs, because the return criteria states that the shoes must be "unworn" and I wore them for a day and a half, hoping the wool would relax and soften at the toe. "
Again, the shoes are fabulous in quality, but the lack of an alternate-shaped toe-box model means they aren't an option for me personally.

I wear a size 10, but the size 10 felt short unless I didn’t wear socks. I wear heavy socks here in Montana in the winter to just run outside to the mailbox. Wish they have 10.5. I ordered the size 11
