Size & Fit Details

This is a Medium Plus width shoe, which fits like a spacious medium. If you have a higher volume foot, but are not quite a wide this may be a good fit for you.

🔻 Runs long sizes 6 - 9.5 size down 1/2 size if possible

🔺 Runs short sizes 10+ size up 1/2 size if possible

The Liesl fits like a traditional women's dress shoe and is narrower than our wool clogs. Will loosen slightly with wear. Insole is removable.

We took the best parts of our famous wool clogs - felted wool and our anatomically shaped support sole and we put them in a feminine dress shoe. This shoe is fully lined with wool felt for comfort.

Sizing seems inconsistent with all other brands I wear. I’m a US8, EU39. In this shoe, the 8 is too small, 9 is way too large. Otherwise they seem comfortable but had to return.

Finally! Pretty feet!

Have long loved wool felt/cork-soled slippers for their comfortable & supportive warmth. Have needed a comfortable pair of skimmer-style shoes for a long time & thought the cork soles on these would fit the bill, plus they looked so dainty and attractive.
They make my feet look small, are lightweight, temperature regulating, and provide arch support. They are well-made, but are of a thinner-density felt and not quite as warm as my usual wool slipper clogs. (I live in Minnesota and the winters are cold.)
They conformed to my feet quickly, but seemed to stretch out in the heel cup quickly as well. (Although they still stay on with walking around the house.)
They pack compactly & are lightweight for travel, but I have not yet worn them outside: it is cold and snowy outside now. I don't know if they would work for miles of walking during travel trips, but I think they would be most comfortable shoes for airplane-travel wear.
I love the eggplant color: remarkably versatile.

I have wide feet, so I was wary of ordering a size down as recommended by the size guide, but it was right—the front fit well and will be wide enough, but they were about 1/2 inch too long. My heel would come
out of the shoe with every step like flip flops. I am in the process of exchanging for a size 7.5. Here’s hoping the new size is wide enough and stays on my foot. I’m excited to get them—they will be really cute and looked well-made.
